Where Boostcamp is better

  • The program library. Licensed programs from coaches people already follow, against athlate's built-in templates and Rytme plans.
  • A program builder on the web with keyboard shortcuts, duplicate week and duplicate day. athlate programs are built in the app on your phone.
  • Live Activities on the lock screen while you rest. athlate does not show the rest timer on the lock screen.
  • A free tier that gives away the full logger and unlimited own programs. athlate caps free active programs at 10.
  • It is out. athlate is still on a waitlist.

Where athlate is ahead

Where athlate is ahead: you can write your own formula in the cell, not only pick a mode; the strength score and muscle map are free; and you can log in the spreadsheet itself.

What we write about Boostcamp comes from its own website, help pages and App Store listing, per September 2026. All prices, ours too, are in US dollars as listed in the US store. Your own store shows them in your currency. Apps change quickly. If something here is out of date, tell us at hey@athlate.com and we will fix it.
